Grain Free Porridge
Ingredients
½ tablespoon ghee or avocado oil spray
1 cup unsweetened nut milk
1 serving protein powder of choice (Natural Force Grass-Fed Whey works well here)
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 tablespoon ground flax seeds
Pinch of sea salt or kosher salt
Serve each portion with:
1 teaspoon almond butter
1 tablespoon shredded coconut flakes (optional)
¼ cup blueberries or berries of your choice
Directions
Heat the ghee or spray avocado oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Add the nut milk and protein powder, whisking until thoroughly combined.
Add the chia and flax seeds, with a pinch of salt, whisking continuously.
Simmer for 2 - 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the porridge is thickened and the milk is absorbed.
Remove the porridge from the heat and stir in the almond butter.
Divide the porridge into bowls. Top with berries and coconut flakes if desired.
