Grain Free Porridge
Ingredients
½ tablespoon ghee or avocado oil spray
1 cup unsweetened nut milk
1 serving protein powder of choice
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 tablespoons ground flax seed
Pinch of sea salt or kosher salt
Serve each portion with:
1 tablespoon almond butter
¼ cup blueberries or berries of your choice
¼ cup shredded coconut flakes
Directions
Heat the ghee or spray avocado oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Add the nut milk and protein powder, whisking until thoroughly combined.
Add the chia seeds and flax seeds, whisking continuously.
Simmer for 3 - 5, until the porridge is thickened and the milk is absorbed.
Remove the porridge from the heat and stir in the almond butter.
Divide the porridge into bowls. Top with berries and coconut flakes.
